Born and raised in Los Angeles, Christine Weatherup is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California, where she majored in Cinema-Television, Theatre & Political Science. Christine had the opportunity to study at the British American Drama Academy (BADA) where she played Emma in Betrayal and Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream. At USC, she studied with Charlotte Cornwell, Andrew J. Robinson, Jack Rowe and Michael Keenan, among others. While in college, Christine appeared in the MFA Playwrighting Workshop production of Big Night, a solo show she wrote called Dreaming Alone, and was selected to perform in the Senior Showcase.
Christine has most recently appeared in numerous commercials (including Nikon, Superpages, Starburst and Ford). She co-created and stars in the webseries Engaged the Show, soon to be launched on StrikeTV. She has appeared extensively in film (Star Kid) and television (General Hospital, Grounded for Life) Her Los Angeles theatre credits include The Rover at the John Raitt Theatre and a staged reading of Hotel Chicago at the Complex Theatre.
